RadCalc version 7.3.2.0 - New features and highlights

We are excited to announce the release of RadCalc v7.3.2.0, our new RadCalc platform, featuring a modern browser-based interface, designed to enhance efficiency in daily patient QA tasks. This release introduces significant advancements tailored specifically to the needs of medical physicists and dosimetrists. Offering a comprehensive patient-centered quality assurance (QA) solution, incorporating cutting-edge 3D algorithms for plan secondary verification, 3D back projected EPID pre-treatment QA, and EPID in-vivo dosimetry. Alongside our existing EPID in-vivo delivered dose QA feature, we've introduced automated 3D calculation of treatment log files. 

RadCalc Portal:

• A new browser-based portal offering a comprehensive view of patient treatment status by integrating EPID workflows and logfile-based QA. Fully supports all modalities, including TomoTherapy®, CyberKnife®, GammaKnife®, and Brachytherapy.*
   

EPID Analysis with Panel Shifts:

• Advanced flood field management and off-axis corrections for EPID panel positions to ensure precise in-vivo dosimetry reconstruction.
   

CyberKnife® Support for RayStation®:

• Fully integrated 3D geometry support from RayStation’s® CyberKnife® plans, enhancing the management of complex treatment geometries.
   

Introducing Automated FLQA functionality:

• Automatic Fractional Logfile QA for 3D dose calculations from the first treatment log file and instantaneous 2D beam by beam fluence comparisons, amplifying your Quality Assurance process.
   

New Windows Services:

• Support for running RadCalcAIR and the Queue via Windows Services with the RadCalc Services Manager, empowering administrators to run tasks seamlessly in the background.
   

Brachytherapy Enhancements:

• Industry-leading Brachytherapy solution now supports ring/circular applicator geometry, enhancing independent source positioning features.
   

Density Override Conversion:

• Automatically converts relative electron density units to physical mass density at import, ensuring accurate calculations across Varian Eclipse™ TPS algorithms.

With this release we are also excited to announce the release of the RadCalc Customer Connect! This will replace the LifelineSoftware.com customer login.
